Full Reportपूरी रिपोर्ट
Fact-checkers traced the viral footage to an Instagram reel by the account patel.vishal, which drew about 94,300 likes and 10,600 shares. The clip shows hundreds of people moving across step-farmed fields on a green hillside, a landscape common in Nepal’s hill regions. Instagram’s “About this account” panel lists the account as based in Nepal, joined in December 2020, with two former usernames. The original post carries only the caption “Woyl” and does not describe the crowd as a protest, conflict or anything connected to India. With no credible report linking the video to an Indian location or event, presenting it as such is misleading. Crowd videos from neighbouring countries are often reused to suggest unrest in India, so a clip’s original source and location should be checked before it is shared.
